Succulents are my favorite.
This is so great

Family Day Out!
We went into Madaba (home of some beautiful super old mosaics) and did some touristy stuff and explored a bit. We went into St George’s church, admired the mosaics, watched the tourists and Eli did a sort of “I Spy” with the icons. He saw mostly “sharps” (swords) and “that guy” (Jesus).
We took the “good camera” so I only have iPhone shots to share, but it is beautiful and a must see if you ever find yourself in Jordan.
And BONUS I finally convinced Andrew to get a rug to bring home and I absolutely love it! Locally made, super light and not too big.
And, of course, the shopkeeper insisted Eli call her “teyta” (grandmother) and filled his little hands with free toys.
Eli’s big purchase was two barbies dressed in traditional clothes for 2JD. I can’t wait for him to share them with his cousin Zoey.
And tomorrow, Dead Sea again? Inshallah.
I didn’t realize these things were weird and hardly noticed ten until I left for 2 years and made friends with people who weren’t American.
They think we are pretty strange. And I have to agree.
But it is and always will be, home sweet home.
Ain’t no body got money for that
Some idiot tried to charge over $5000 to Andrews (stolen) credit card AT A GROCERY STORE.
Apparently Chase knows how cheap we are and alerted us within hours. And shut it down right then.
They know we don’t spend money like that…like EVER.
Andrew was all upset asking what rights he had if he could track the thief down.
